Teach your assistant from your website

Kisnip reads your site automatically and keeps it up to date.

Most of what your assistant knows comes straight from your website. Add your site once and Kisnip reads every page, turns it into knowledge, and re-checks it every day. You'll find this under the Knowledge tab in your dashboard.

Adding a website in the Knowledge tab and watching Kisnip learn the pages.
  1. 1

    Add your website

Open the Knowledge tab and paste your site's address into the Website field. This is usually your home page. Kisnip follows the links from there to find the rest.

  2. 2

Kisnip reads it and keeps it current

Kisnip visits your pages and turns their content into knowledge. The tab shows how many pages were learned and when the site was last scanned. From then on it re-checks your site automatically every day, so answers keep up as your content changes.

A clear, well-structured website makes for a sharper assistant. If key facts live only in a PDF or in your head, add them by hand too.

Common questions

How long does the first scan take?

Usually just a few minutes. Larger sites take a little longer. You can keep setting things up while it runs. The page count updates when it's finished.

Something on my site is missing?

Make sure the page is public and linked from your site so Kisnip can reach it. For anything that isn't published online, add it as manual knowledge.
